Upon arrival at your location, Tom Thomson will first ensure that the floors and other surfaces are protected while he is working at your residence. Then he will proceed to carefully and precisely install your new plantation shutters. And of course we will also unload all the necessary ladders, screws, drills, etc to enable us to carry out a professional and durable installation that will provide years of excellent service.
The shutters are labelled so Tom knows where to fit each panel. Once he is sure he has the correct part he will mark and drill the holes that are needed so that he can insert the screws that will secure your shutters into place.
Tom Thomson, has 25 years’ experience building and installing custom-sized shutters to fit numerous shapes of windows.
He knows how to work cleanly and with the minimum disruption to you. Tom is careful to clean up all drill dust, wood shavings and any other type of debris that is caused by his installation before he leaves so that you can enjoy your shutters to the full without having to tidy up after him.
In fact, he cleans up window by window as he goes so that your home or office remains uncluttered and all packaging and protection materials are taken back to the vehicle to be recycled, where possible.
Once all your plantation shutters are in place he will walk through the various rooms with you and inspect all windows and opening/closing mechanisms so that he can be sure that he has finished the work to your complete satisfaction.
